PostNL integration
About the integration
PostNL is a Dutch postal company that originally originated from the merger of the postal activities of the former state-owned PTT and the postal company TPG (TNT Post Groep). PostNL's history goes back to the establishment of PTT in 1809, when it was responsible for postal and telecommunications services in the Netherlands. In 1989, PTT was privatized and divided into several companies, including PTT Post, which would later become part of TPG. In 2005, TPG was renamed TNT and focused more on international express services and logistics, while postal services within the Netherlands continued to exist under the name TNT Post. Another name change followed in 2011, with TNT Post being renamed PostNL.
With the rise of digital communication, the demand for traditional postal services declined and PostNL increasingly focused on offering logistics solutions and e-commerce services. The company evolved to offer parcel and postal services to both private and business customers. PostNL played an important role in facilitating the growing e-commerce sector in the Netherlands. In addition to the core services of mail and parcel delivery, PostNL has also invested in sustainable and green delivery options and innovative technologies to improve the efficiency of their services. This carrier could certainly not be missing from the ProductFlow platform.
